My writing focuses on the intersection of philosophy, literature, and cultural politics.

I am particularly interested in the philosophy of language and how the social internet impacts relationships. I have spent time researching speech-act theory, the link between dystopian media production and American collective consciousness, and how our daily lives have changed and continue to change in the Technocene.

Occasionally, I write fiction of varying quality. I’m interested in Steinbeck, Fitzgerald, Carver and the broader American Lost Generation and Beatnik scene.
